Buy 6+, Save $1 per bottle Buy 12+, Save $2 per bottle REDESIGNED BOTTLE, SAME TOP-OF-THE-LINE BRAKE FLUID Competition Motorsport RF1 fully synthetic Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to provide the highest, most reliable performance under racing and track-day conditions, where braking systems operate at very high sustained temperatures. RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) There is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than brakes. And no single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At Competition Motorsport, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid on the track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got heated. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and many other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at extreme temperatures and line pressures found in racing, track days, and spirited driving. Bottom line: you can spend more money, but you can't buy higher-performing racing brake fluid! SPECIFICATIONS: Typical dry boiling point: 622 F (328 C) Typical wet boiling point: 399 F (204 C) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Individual 500 ml (16.7 oz.) bottles Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
PFC Brake Pads 0636.XX.13.44 REAR
Performance Friction PFC Brake Pads 0636.XX.13.44 REAR from $175.95
PFC Brake Pads 0636.97.13.44 (97 Compound) A favorite since its debut, Performance Friction 97-Compound Racing Braking Pads continue to impress, winning numerous races in CART, ALMS, Grand Am, ASA, and Club Races everywhere. The 97-Compound has less initial bite and torque then the 01, while offering great modulation, a very flat torque curve, and excellent release characteristics. A naturally low-wearing pad, the 97 compound is popular in the endurance circuits and amongst Club Racers and Track-Day enthusiasts. PFC Brake Pads 0636.11.13.44 (11 Compound)  Based on the outgoing 01-compound, Performance Friction's 11-compound takes the same great high-bite and torque but with even better rotor and pad wear characteristics and improved bite, modulation, and release. Exhibiting a very high initial bite and torque, very little temperature induced torque rise follows. Less torque scatter exists for improved modulation with excellent release, helping to eliminate wheel lock at the end of a stop.     Fits Mazda Miata (94-05), Front
PFC Brake Pads 0635.XX.13.44 FRONT
Performance Friction PFC Brake Pads 0635.XX.13.44 FRONT from $186.95
PFC Brake Pads 0635.97.13.44 (97 Compound) A favorite since its debut, Performance Friction 97-Compound Racing Braking Pads continue to impress, winning numerous races in CART, ALMS, Grand Am, ASA, and Club Races everywhere. PFC Brake Pads 0635.08.13.44 (08 Compound) One of PFC's most popular compounds which came to fame in Endurance Sportscar and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. PFC08 has a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics. Despite its considerable performance, 08 has the lowest wear rate of all PFC compounds and can easily match the wear characteristics of the other competitors' materials but with much higher bite and consistent performance across a broad temperature range. PFC Brake Pads 0635.11.13.44 (11 Compound) Based on the out-going 01-compound, Performance Friction's 11-compound takes the same great high-bite and torque but with even better rotor and pad wear characteristics and improved bite, modulation, and release. Exhibiting a very high initial bite and torque, very little temperature induced torque rise follows. Less torque scatter exists for improved modulation with excellent release, helping to eliminate wheel lock at the end of a stop. Fits Mazda Miata (94-05), Front
Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 8129
Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 8129 from $159.61
Fitment: Miata 1.8 NB (spec Miata) - Rear Pad thickness: 12.5mm RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. RST 4: RST 4 is a semi metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. This material has a medium friction level and high temperature resistance. Applications for the RST 4 compound include formula cars and open wheel racing. Rear axle material for Rally (tarmac and gravel) and for all front engine cars. Also used in NASCAR on long ovals.

RST 3: RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family. It captivates by its low heat conductivity. RST 3 compound applications include rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, Touring cars and prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. RST Compound fits a wide range of applications due to it‘s combination of bite, friction and controllability.
