AiM Kart Racing Steering Angle Sensor Measure and log your kart driver's steering input with the AiM Steering Angle Sensor. Includes a rotary potentiometer with a male 4-pin 719-style connector, two toothed pulleys, one toothed belt, and one sensor mounting bracket. The steering shaft pulley is designed to fit a 7/8"-diameter shaft. (Smaller shafts will need to add a bushing to fit the pulley.) This sensor is designed to measure up to five complete turns of the steering column. This sensor requires the addition of an Expansion Box or eBox when used with MyChron3 Extreme, MyChron4, and MyChron5 kart dash loggers. If your steering column is larger than 7/8", consider using the AiM String Pot Steering Angle Sensor (Part No. AIM-MC-280) instead. The String Pot can work with any diameter steering shaft.

AiM Low Pressure Sensor 0-15 psi 1/8NPT This sensor has a 4-pin 719 (plastic push-on) connector and a male 1/8 NPT thread. When installed in the coolant system, you can sense a reduced coolant system pressure (leak) before your coolant is exhausted and engine is overheated. AiM Brake Pedal Position Sensor, Linear Travel Pot (Auto) The AiM linear short stroke (10mm) displacement potentiometer is most popular ideal for measuring brake pedal movement. A pedal travel sensor such as this can be simpler to install in many vehicles than plumbing a pressure sensor in the brake line. Normally mounted in front of the brake pedal (between the driver and the pedal) so the sensor is depressed when the brakes are off. This will reduce the likelihood of sensor damage or interference with pedal travel in the event of brake fade. The sensor should be mounted close to the pedal pivot, and at an angle that minimizes side loading on the plunger. The compact sensor body measures just 3/4" (19mm) OD x 1 3/8" (35mm) long overall (less plunger). Two 1/4" (6mm) mounting holes are located 1.34" (34mm) center-to-center. This sensor has a 200mm (7 3/4") long cable with the 719 (four-pin plastic push-on type) connector. Use a My Chron 719-719 Patch Cable (Part No. MC-211) to connect to an AiM MXL Pista, MXL Pro, MXL2, MXG, MXS, or MyChron3 Auto dash (except XG-Log). AiM Magnetic Pedal Position Sensor For MyChron5 The accelerator/brake pedal position sensors is a crucial support device for kart drivers. They provide a precise indication of timing and intensity of braking and/or acceleration. This permits the team to understand whether the driver has accelerated or braked at the right moment, with the correct pedal strength, across multiple laps and overlaid with other critical data. This is a very important factor in evaluating driver behavior and improving his/her performance. Data can be acquired by your MyChron5 connected to a MyChron Expansion and analyzed on your PC. Made in anodized aluminium, these sensors are very robust and water-resistant. Calibration is immediate: once installed, connect the sensors to your MyChron Expansion and get pedal positions (in high position and zero position). AiM Magnetic Wheel Speed Sensor - 719 Lead This sensor has the 719 (four-pin plastic push-on type) connector to connect to the MyChron3 Plus or Gold Auto dashes, any AiM MXL series dash, or any EVO3 series data logger. The MyChron3 XG-Log requires a 712-719 Patch Cable (Part No. MC-210). The EVO4 requires either the MC-210 patch cable or the Y-Cable for Dual Speed Sensors (Part No. MC-264). The front of the sensor has M8 threads for easy mounting in a bracket you supply. We also offer Replacement Speed Sensor Magnets for installation on a spare wheel, or for adding multiple trigger points. Tip: Add a longer 719-719 Extension Cable (Part No. MC-211, sold separately) and install your wheel speed sensor with the plug near the suspension pick-up point. In the event of crash damage, the sensor will be much easier to replace without fishing a new lead through the car.
