Buy 6+, Save $1 per bottle Buy 12+, Save $2 per bottle REDESIGNED BOTTLE, SAME TOP-OF-THE-LINE BRAKE FLUID Competition Motorsport RF1 fully synthetic Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to provide the highest, most reliable performance under racing and track-day conditions, where braking systems operate at very high sustained temperatures. RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) There is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than brakes. And no single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At Competition Motorsport, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid on the track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got heated. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and many other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at extreme temperatures and line pressures found in racing, track days, and spirited driving. Bottom line: you can spend more money, but you can't buy higher-performing racing brake fluid! SPECIFICATIONS: Typical dry boiling point: 622 F (328 C) Typical wet boiling point: 399 F (204 C) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Individual 500 ml (16.7 oz.) bottles Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01
Girodisc Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01 $250.00
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader This indispensable tool is used by race teams, shops, and enthusiasts alike who have high performance four- and six-piston calipers. The spreader is designed to spread brake pads and pistons in four- and six-piston calipers to facilitate quick replacement of pads and/or rotors in a shop or racing environment. No more screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, or C-clamps! This tool will retract the pistons evenly and all the way back into their bores with one squeeze of the levers. The Girodisc spreader was designed around popular four-piston and six-piston calipers from Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, and other performance calipers in racing and road use. To help fit in any caliper, the amount of throw is adjustable.Insert the spreading plates one way for wider six-piston calipers, then turn the spreader 90o and use the plate sides for four-piston calipers. The Girodisc Pad Spreader is made from heavy-gauge steel and is powder-coated for durability. The slider is cadmium-plated, and nylon pivot bushings ensure smooth action. The Girodisc Pad Spreader will quickly become an invaluable tool for any race team, shop, or enthusiast who changes pads and rotors with any frequency.
A2-220 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (BMW F87 M2 Competition)
Girodisc A2-220 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (BMW F87 M2 Competition) $1,300.00
Discovery Parts is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products and one of the largest stocking dealers in the country. We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. Fits BMW F87 M2 Competition The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE rotors. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed. Sold/Priced per pair.

Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 4934
Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 4934 from $624.01
RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

RS 14: The PAGID RS14 (Black) is a high friction value ceramic compound with very good modulation and high fade resistance. A very popular, aggressive pad with strong initial bite and high torque. In addition to the track-day environment, RS14 has shown success in short- to medium-distance circuit racing as well as gravel and tarmac rallying. RSC 1: RSC1 is a good street/track compromise for enthusiasts with Carbon-Ceramic Brakes. Used for sprint racing and track days compound with all known types of ceramic brake discs. An ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface.
