Joe Gibbs Driven high-viscosity lubricant (HVL) provides a tenacious, yet fluid film to protect reciprocating and rotating components during assembly and initial break-in. Flowing into the bearings on the rocker arms and roller lifters, this non-foaming product mixes with the break-in oil and extends film thickness during the critical break-in process. When added to standard oil it will increase its film thickness as well. It can be applied to engine bearings, piston skirts, gears, bushings, etc., and does not harden or cause parts to become "sticky." HVL can also be used as a chain lubricant to reduce friction and provides grease-like durability. Use HVL and consider it great insurance for your investment in time and parts.
HVL provides extreme load carrying ability, making it perfect for other hard to lubricate parts such as chassis rod ends. Driven Racing Oil High Viscosity Lubricant offers superior lubrication properties over general spray lubricants but can be used in all the same applications.
